Exchange City
We have been learning about economics in social studies. On Friday we decided to barter with items that we brought to school. Some students brought candy, toys, pencils, braclets, and books. It was a lot of fun. If you bartered with someone you had to keep what you traded. We liked seeing what everyone started with and what everyone ended up having at the end.

Flat Parker
Flat Parker went to California. He brought back many different pictures that it was difficult to upload all of them on the computer. He also brought back a detailed list of all of the things he experienced in California. Below are a few of the pictures.
Book Reports
The students just finished their second book report of the year. They created skeletons or robots based on the story that they read. They wrote about their book on the index cards.
Monster Visualization
The students in my class created a monster. They then wrote a descriptive paragraph explaining exactly what their monster looked like. We traded our paragraphs with Ms. Findle's class. Her class read our paragraphs and drew a monster based on our descriptions. Our class did the same with their paragraphs. Below are some of the very similar monsters that were created.
